Our Story

Our story begins way back in 1971 when a young Alan Sandford discovered a passion and talent for metal work at school. Since then this passion and commitment has seen Alan grow into one of the country’s finest Craftsmen and respected Master Goldsmiths. Skip forward 37 years to 2008 and the Sandford & Ogden partnership is born. The business was originally named Monton Designer Jewellery; this was then changed in 2015 to use the family names. Family values, integrity and trust remain at the epicentre of how we run our business.

At Sandford & Ogden we combine decades of expertise and experience with the enthusiasm and innovation of youth to create and showcase some of the finest jewellery and most prestigious luxury watches to be found anywhere in the world.

All of our collections are unique and are exclusive to us. We never make two of anything so you can rest assured that anything you commission with us will be individually crafted for you. Everything is designed and crafted in our in-house workshop using centuries old traditional techniques. We craft everything by hand, there’s not a computer in sight.

Alongside our own bespoke collections, we stock some of the finest collections of jewellery and watches from some of the world’s most desirable designers.
